About Katie

Academics

Katie is currently a 7th grade student who prides herself on her academics. Currently she has not missed a day of school or been tardy a single day for the past 7 and 1/2 years of school and is an honor role student taking advanced level courses.

Athletics

Katie Brier was born on 4/25/12.  She has U.S. and Panama citizenship, and she speaks fluent Spanish and English.  She can play every softball position on the field, including pitcher and catcher, at a high level.  Her primary positions are pitcher / catcher. She ranks in the top 10% of travel softball players in Florida in most measurable analytics related to softball. Katie also golfs and runs track.

Bilingual

Katie was born in Panama and holds dual U.S. and Panamanian citizenship. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Katie wears the number 40 on her sports uniforms in honor of former NFL player Pat Tillman who was killed in action while serving in the U.S. Army in Afghanistan.

Non-Profit Work

Katie founded the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Katie Jane Rocks, Inc., with her father in 2018.  This organization helps support children in need in 3 countries; USA, Panama, Colombia.  Katie also has written a children's book "Children of the world, God loves you," that supports her non-profit.  As part of her non-profit mission "Katie Jane Rocks Kindness Rocks" have been placed all over the world by supporters.
